Tamim hails Shakib's bowling form after impressive county performance
Bangladesh captain impressed by all-rounder's recent bowling displays
Shakib has taken 13 wickets in four County Championship matches for Worcestershire
Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal has praised the bowling form of Shakib Al Hasan after the all-rounder's impressive performances for Worcestershire in the County Championship.
Shakib has taken 13 wickets in four matches for the English county, including a five-wicket haul against Sussex.
His form has been a welcome boost for Bangladesh, who are due to play a two-Test series against South Africa in July.
"Shakib is a world-class all-rounder and he has shown that with his bowling in the County Championship," Tamim said.
"He is bowling with a lot of control and accuracy, and he is getting wickets."
"It is great to see him in such good form ahead of the South Africa series."
Shakib's bowling has been particularly impressive in recent weeks.
He took 4-37 against Gloucestershire and then followed that up with 5-40 against Sussex.
His performances have helped Worcestershire to climb to the top of the County Championship Division Two table.
